:( I still rememmber how I was feeling when I took this picture of this poor DR30. I was trying so hard to take it back to my house and restore it, but was not able to due to some gov law issues
this DR30 is scrapped short time after this picture was taken

Yes, no turbo's in GCC spec's  only carbs and some of them were fuel injected (but totally rare to find fuel injected one's)

I'm almost finished modding/restoring my Beams powered AE86, and once I finish it I will start my 2nd project which will be a DR30 or HR31

 I really feel bad how arabs trash those sweet cars and scrap them so easy in cold blood

A DR with a 2.8? More likely that it's a MR30 or some sort of export variant. But still cool nonetheless.

also I just noticed it has a Laurel dashboard, or at least something very similar.

This car is a HR30 with an l series engine in it. It is in South Australia, not South Africa. These pictures were taken at the Classic Skylines Australia Skyline Nationals in Shepparton that took place in July 2008. There were 180 early model skylines at this event. This is my DR30, driven in group A racing in 1987 at Bathurst and the

sorry for the confusion. I know its in South Australia, was rather curious whether it was a Jap spec HR30 or a South African Spec L28 MR30 coupe.

Are there any more shots of your Group A DR30? :tu:

and any of the other group A DR30's how they sit today? It would be interesting to know where they are today.

also are they coming over for the skyline nationals?

another cool one i just found with a DR30 AE86 Initial D styled touge / drift battle

....

I just was thinking if that DR30 in the last video I posted had 600PS it must make it around 440KW / 590HP, that must be pretty scary to drive, seeing they can be quite un-predictable releasing their fury sometimes.
