Thanks! Not only does it store my battery, but once I put a latch/lock on it, it'll serve as a little storage space since there isn't much room for anything else in the cab.

Dude, that is BRILLIANT! Maybe I'll steal that idea later when I get moneys to work on my wagon. The regular battery relocation boxes look kind of lame in my opinion. That really adds character!

and bleed it with the truck sitting level, not on jack stands, or it will not flow, same if you bled your rear brakes with the back of the truck on jack stands,

the valve cuts rear brake flow to prevent rear wheel lock up based on weight thaths in the bed

Thanks Hercules, that's some good information. I didn't know any of that! I'm going to re-bleed the brakes again and see if I can get it working better. I'm glad your on the JNC forum!

it isn't gonna help alot but it will make a difference,
and the rear drums do no self adjust, they have to manually adjusted, that too will help firm up the brakes

I don't see any valve. Is it only on the later models? My truck is a 75, that came with drums all around. I have to take of the rear drums and adjust them, as they are locking up on a hard brake (hard as in hard on the pedal, my trucks still doesn't have "bite" when I stomp the pedals). I'm going to try and get to installing the proportioning valve this week I hope.

mine is a 76 with all drums too, its on the inside of the frame rail, the 3 bleeders are on top of it,
i do believe like 76 to 79 have them,
so maybe yours doesnt have one
