My wanted ad had a good impact. One man was willing to let one of his two 2400gt go. Luckily he decided to sell this project car to me.

Has anyone any idea how to get new locks and ignition switch for this car? The keys are lost :( Or is it even possible to make new keys to locks..? Have to ask around.

The story continues when I get to home..

Many Nissan ignition [and even door/trunk or gas cap] locks have a stamped number on the face. This gives the locksmith the correct "lookk up" to reproduce the factory key. If no number, any competent locksmith can rmove the tumbler and by examination cut a new key that works in that lock assembly.

Yesterday I changed old clutch slave syl to new and seems that master is holding pressure ok.

Managed to get the engine running also. Allways nice when old beasts wake up.. This one had been napping since 2011 and out of reg. from 1994 or so..

Most of the electrics seem to start working also. Have to clean all connectors.

Thank you.

I plan to make interior as tidy as possible. Leave the surface as is. Only fine sanding and satin clearcoat :D

Congratulations on your purchase. I know if I had two Hakosukas, I would hang onto both of them.

I like the plan for the paint, too. Pretty brave and you may get told off !

Good luck :)

Congrats that you finally found a car!

Do you know if he´s willing to sell the other one as well? What was the condition?

He did not give any price or real answer to my questions.. Have to keep contact if he decides to sell it some day:)
It was a restored car. Not done in concourse level but nice though. I offered to swap my 260z to it and he might think about it :D

Ok, thanks for the info. I´m not looking for a restored car. I´m after a car that has a bad exterior.
