Hi, I'm Fredrik from Sweden.

Thought I would add another Butaketsu to the forum. Last year, I bought this car along with an unregistered spare parts car and two sedans (from the same seller as Kaos got his from). It's been left outside, with no doors on, for many years and some parts are missing or broken. Been off the road since 1984!
I have a lot of work ahead of me and it will take a lot of time and money before this one hits the road again but some day...
For the moment, I'm trying to find parts for it, which is very difficult as the c130 Laurel is almost unheard of in Sweden and I don't have a parts catalog for it.

They are all G20 engines. Twin carburettors for the coupe but otherwise the same engine in the sedans.

Yes, it will take alot of time and money. We'll see if I like welding when I'm done ;)

Hopefully there will be at least one coupe and one 4 door in the end. It depends on if I can get the parts and time for it. The last coupe has no chassie number so it can't be registered (in Sweden at least).

Don't hold your breath for them to be finished though. I need to finish building my garage before I can start working properly on them...

Great to see you here Fredrik and nice to see another butaketsu in Scandinavia. I guess we can help eachother out with this rather rare model.
We are three guys here in Norway with a total of four cars. Two of them are sold new in Norway and to other are mine and imported from Sweden :o

Ah, there they are!

The one with the brown doors is without chassie number.
They both look terrible and are a bit ruff in different ways but together I think they can make a decent example in the end.

Yes it would be nice if we could help each other getting them back on the road.

As far as I know, there's only my two and the purple one left in Sweden now.
