I have a 1983 Nissan Bluebird SSS four door hard top. It is my dads first car and well the family car now back in our home country Fiji Islands. The car right now is in very bad condition and my dad is going in jan to fix it. and me and him were thinking one day.. there was only one kind of nissan bluebird that came to the US (maxima) and with a different front and there wasent a hard top. we were thinking about making the one we have back home with the same front as the Maxima we have in the US. Making it an LD28? What do you guys think of the idea?

It originally came with a Z18e but swapped with a LD20 because gas was really expensive and my dad ran it as a taxi for 7 years but it was swapped one time with a Z18ET but that didnt work out for where the car is so it went back to a LD20.
And i know its a very big job but it will be done. The project will start by mid Jan hopefully it will be done by Feb end or Early march

Seriously, you are gonna fix that? i am going to follow this topic, i need to see how this is put together again. Why not use the blue car? That looked more solid than this..

Sentimental value? As far as i can see the only thing you can reuse from the white car is the roof :)
Good luck man! I'll be watching this to see how it will be restored to former glory.

Wow that is rough. Though if it holds sentimental value, go for it. Good luck. I'll be frequenting this thread.
