Greetings. I've recently purchased a US model B310 coupe.

I may eventually log progress with it, but one question:

Is it normal for an aftermarket seat to sit very high in this car?
I'm comparing to a Status racing seat which I have in my daily driver.

I've adapted a bottom mount Corbeau FX-1 to the OE driver side sliders, and at 5'6" my head nearly touches the ceiling. I've never sat in the car with a factory seat installed.

I plan to try adapting side mounts or buying a Bride seat bracket from Japan if necessary; the only US bracket I've found was also by Corbeau, and is no longer made.

Georgia.

I had another question about the 280ZX wheels I plan to run, but I believe I just answered it myself. Shank lugs :)

I'm planning on having the chassis of the B310 as close to the ground as possible.
The tire setup will be 155/55s on 14x6 280zx wheels. I'll space the rears and have either RCA or NCRCA up front.
Up front I'll be running modified function form coilovers, with the lower perch welded to the B310 strut body.
This is the setup I currently have:

In back I originally planned cut springs and shorter rear shocks, however I'm wondering if the adjustable spring perch from AE86 rear coil overs such as these will work in the B310 chassis?

Or would this question be better posted on Ratsun?
