I love your approach to this project. I'm very much looking forward to the 'finished' product.

Hey man! I've been wondering where your car has been! That's so awesome that you have one here in Michigan, we needed something like that to mix things up. Glad to see it's still around and getting some work done. I can't wait until it's back out on the street. I'll do whatever I have to, to see that out and driving!

It wont be ready for Woodward... Most likely getting painted within the next couple months and on the road next spring. Its been a Hell of a learning curve and lots of cash has been put into so far.
Still need to get some work done on the Stroker but other then that majority of the work complete

New bearings
Time to try to update the brakes and here where the problems begin... Thought it was a plug in play kit yaaaaa right... All bolts needed to be replaced, calipers came with one stripped thread each and no machining on rotors grrrrrrr!!!!
Those nice calipers I got powder coated... Well one thread on each were stripped

So helicoil to the rescue...

First problem somewhat resolved...

Issue two) rotors wont fit hub size. Had to check to make sure it was a hako hub... Rotors never got machined!

Just been through this whole thread and must say I'm impressed with the standard of work and attention to detail.

Seeing how much work you've done has given me confidence as I think my old Cedric shouldn't need anywhere near that amount of bodywork (famous last words)
I've been battling with what colour to go for to be that bit different and your colour samples helped me as well.
I was considering pearl white but after seeing colour 7 of the blue/green tones it has made me rethink my ideas.
Do you have a name for that colour?
Of course it's hard to visualise how a colour would look on the Cedric when the Hako looks fabulous in any colour :-)

After mock up on R32 Brakes with Questionable hakosuka strut decided 4mm off the back of the hubb may do the trick. If not will be buying new Coilover and hub Fingers crossed... All the measurements work out should work no problem...

In other news body is coming along SLOWLY!!! At this rate if the car doesnt get painted by Nov, Late fall 2015 will be put back together...

Anyone suggest a colour code for the last colour?

Keen to find a colour similar to this
