I always wanted a big Datsun!
I grew up in a -76 220C.
Many years ago, I had a 240C 2D HT!
Then things started to happen...

Last year, I got a set of wheels, but I didn`t have a car for them.
Image
Inside, there was newspaper from 1987, so I think thats their age.

Then I found a model car on ebay.

Then I found a -76 260C for sale last year...
It was TO expensive, but this year the price was lowered.
I HAD to have it!
SO, I went shopping!
Image
I was owner nr 4, and it had only 113.000km on the meter!

Not too bad, even the trunk looked ok...

The keys were missing, but a trip to the local Nissandealer with the service manual,
and I had new keys!!
Image

The interior looked ok
Image

But the fabric in the seats were not too good, and too dirty!

Engine room, looked ok....

Testing rims

New rubber

And new wheelnuts

My own Datsun meeting.....

The frontwindow was broken, but I got a new one!
The glass dealer found rust under the old, so I had to fix it!
Image

I even found the original monitor lights on ebay, not delivered in Norway!
Image

Then, I drove it to a bodyshop, too far away.....
Image

More to come!

Christmas came early this year...

I got two pictures, they had to remove all paint, and rust.
Image

I had no wintertyres for my Cedric, so it went on a trailer.
Image

New seats, with leather from albino cows!
Image

Image

ALL rust removed!
And painted everywhere!

Trunk

I have the factory floormat and plastic-cover around the rearlights.

Image

I was thinking, dam, I had to paint the airfilterbox at home....
Image
They had painted the airfilterbox, servo-reservoar, and more details in blue.

The radiator had a fresh coat of black, and the bonnet was painted under!
Image

I think I drowe 1300km`s each way for the job, but it was worth it!
Part of it was in winter kondition-

So now, the car is stored inside, just waiting for spring, and I just want to enjoy it.....
