C10/C110 Rear spring rates

A topic that hasn't been discussed much.

To all C10/C110 owners I'm looking to get your feedback on what spring rates you're running on your cars. Yes, I know each car is different & built for different purposes. However if you could share specs on rates/length etc you're using now or have used in the past just to get an idea.

Alan if you care to share what spring rates were used on the WORKS vehicles back in the day.

I would be surprised if you get much feedback here. Most cars here are using what came in the car. I know a couple are using the V50 rear coilovers with 16k springs. The ride is stiff but that was the goal. There are alot of cut springs here to include mine. My springs are an aftermarket stiffer spring and 8way gab shocks. I cut 1/2 coil to get my ride height. Next year I will also move to coilovers.

What are semi reasonable, cost effective coilover options espically for the rear?!

None of the Japanese shops that I know of do actual coilover conversions for the rear of a hako.
V50, RS Start, Rubber+Soul, etc all do separate strut and spring packages.
Some do sell adjustable height sleeves for the springs to help you dial in the right height, but that's not a "coilover" per se

However at least here in the states you've got a handful of companies like Troy Ermish, Ground Control, and T3 that do rear coilover conversions for the 510...
If it's do-able on the 510, it should be do-able on the hako too...

Depends if you want to change your suspension design, or if you want to keep it factory looking...
