Hi guys, trying to get my S10 ready for the JNCS. I want to lower it a bit to start with and upgrade the worn out suspension. It's a 1977 200SX, and after a ton of research I have found the following: The front suspension is shared with the 810 and the updated early 510 (the strut that replaces the rebuildable parts with a strut insert.) The rear uses the same rear axle as the Datsun 620 pickup.
So my plan so far is to use 280ZX front cartridges with spacers and lowering springs for the 510. In the rear, I plan on using lowering blocks for the 620.
My question is does anyone have any experience with lowering these? Does the info I have found so far seem accurate? Also, I am having a lot of trouble finding someone who makes front lowering springs for the 510. If anyone can help me out, thanks!
S10 200SX's don't have much of a following, so I feel like I am in uncharted waters here.
