Hi. My name is Greg Bankin and I live on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland Australia. My car is a modified (sorta SSS replica) P411 that I use in sprints and hillclimbs. It runs an A15 with twin Hitachi carbs, a Mazda 5 speed and Celica front discs. My wife has named it Buttercup. She let me buy it so I have to live with the name.
It may not be the fastest on the track, but it sure is a LOT of fun.

I know it's no Pike Peak but, the Noosa Hillclimb is classed as the most technical in Australia. 1.5 km and 14 corners with LOTS of concrete blocks right on the edge of the track. I love it. I have completed 5 in this car and 5 in my previous car, a 1958 Austin Healey 100/6 (not Japanese, I know but a beautiful car). I know that it is me and the car, and as long as I stay within both our limits, I will not hurt my car (or me).
I also navigate in rallying but then it is someone else's car so not so big an issue with me.
