hi guys,

been lurking on this site for a while now, so time to start posting.
Am going to victoria on wednesday to pick up my 180bsss, been chasing one for a while
now and came across this one(pics later in post), is/was owned by a guy by the name of bill evans, dos'nt
mean much untill you look into his history, he won bathurst class a in a datsun 1200 1972,73,76,2nd in 75

anyhow the sss in question hes had for 20yrs been garaged the whole time with no rust (unbelievable)
so the road trip is on to bring her home to western australia 3400 odd kms.
should make it as the engine is only 2000kms old, built by bill with datsun oilcooler, p + p head, cam, headers
, so excited!

update since car got home: car now has a rpm race clutch (solid plate)
Image
and now have cusco subi r180 lsd 4.4 ratio, and billet half shafts
Image
also done a mastercylinder upgrade to the 240k one as the car has
rear discs already, and clutch slave cylinder and master. Got a datrally manifold the other day
still deciding weather to go 45 webers or maybe injection throttle bodies
Image
and last the rear cross menber is coming out, and will buy a dstsport one with the
bigger exhaust hole and adjustable toe and camber brackets, ofcourse with all new nolethane
rubbers through out.
Still tring to source american coupe tail-lights and chin spoiler, can anybody help please?
cheers
dave
