Hmm strange.. or is it KPGC110?
But a KPGC110 is 2000cc.. eh?
Wouldn't the G mean it's a GT or GT-R? If so, maybe that's why his is H and not G?
No.
The 'G' means it's a Long wheel-base, which basically translates to it having a 6-cylinder instead of a 4.
Quite simply there's no such car as a KPHC110.
The 'K' defines it as a 2-Door/Hardtop.
The 'P' is indicative of a 'Prince' engine in the 4's it's used to signify the larger capacity, the lack of a letter indicates the smaller capacity. The use of both 'P' as well as 'H' makes no sense in the code at all.
The 'H' in LWB cars, represents the L24.
The 'C110' is obviously the chassis code.
I'd like to see a photo of the chassis code/tag/stamp that actually says it.
Just for the record, the production for the 110 included such..
C110 (G16-powered, 4 cylinder, sedan)
KC110 (G16-powered, 4 cylinder, hardtop)
PC110 (G18-powered, 4 cylinder, sedan)
GC110 (L20-powered, 6 cylinder, sedan)
KGC110 (L20-powered, 6 cylinder, hardtop)
HGC110 (L24-powered, 6 cylinder, sedan)
KHGC110 (L24-powered, 6 cylinder, hardtop)
KPGC110 (S20-powered, 6 cylinder, hardtop)
Then there was a dun dun DUUUUUUN, FACE-LIFT!
BC111 (L16-powered, 4 cylinder, sedan)
KBC111 (L16-powered, 4 cylinder, hardtop)
HC111 (L18-powered, 4 cylinder, sedan)
KHC111 (L18-powered, 4 cylinder, hardtop)
GC111 (L20E-powered, 6 cylinder, sedan)
KGC111 (L20E-powered, 6 cylinder, hardtop)
..and of course there were various trim levels and suffixes for each variant.
Again, just to make sure it's noted. I'd like to see photo(s) of;
A) The Data Tag
B) The Chassis Stamp (it's on the firewall)
C) Interior Photos
