I bought my 280Z about 11years ago, and will probably never sell it!
It was a partly stock 280Z, and looked like this
It had stock wheels, but coilovers...
Stock inside, exept different chairs.
But, shorthly, after hitting a fence, I added a g-front and a "whaletail".
(And some other wheels.)
The engine is the stock L28E, exept I swapped to Autronic SMC engine management,
with map-sensor and wastespark ignition. And a kn-filter and different end muffler.
Sorry, but couldn`t find any enginepictures right now.
The car har been a daily driver somethimes, a project car sometimes, but lately it has been neglected.
My plan now is to do a better restauration on it. (And maybe another bodykit, and new engine...)
A Z is a rally fun car to drive!
In Norway, we have winter almost half of the year, but...
The Z is fun at winter too!!!
But not when it get too much of it.
Even at winter trackdays!!!
Lower the volume... And watch between 17-35 sek. Nice drift?
A long time project I have, is the engine from an old Nissan Patrol, with a RD28 (diesel engine),
with the head from a RB25DET, making it a petrol engine.
And, with a little bigger bore, making it a "RDB29DETxperimental".
My collection rigth now of 2-door cars.
The porsche and the Imperial is for sale...
Other cars I had (Only Nissan/Datsun are CARS!)
The Laurel was wrecked, the Skyline sold.
This S12 I owned to times, first as a stock car for the road,
second it was transformed to this racecar. Sold twice!
So, for now, I have to get rid of some other cars, and spend more time and money on the Z!
