picked up the spare parts Z yesterday, cut it in halves because the front end was rusty and all patched up with the ugliest welds ever..

these are cm..

since the donorcar was a complete car i now have all my parts for my other Z.
Will start my rotisserie probably today because i dont have any other interesting stuff to do on sundays :)

well, this one is ending its live in the scrapper..

rust everywere, really everywere..
thats more than i can take. i dont want to weld for 3 years.
took off all parts, will be looking for a new chassis.

I'm sorry for your loss. I'm sure those rims are worth more than the body. Save all your parts. Try looking for a solid car here in the US and have it shipped. Best of luck on your next project. It looks like you certainly have a nice workshop to work with.

Do you have something else lined up already?

The rims alone are worth the money i paid for it, so no loss there.
Took of all the parts, stored them and i have already been looking for a chassis from California or so, but it looks like Z's are increasing in price alover the world :)

I still have my C30 Laurel, my TE71 Corolla, my KP60 Starlet and i am going to buy an s13 in two hours, so my workshop will still be busy ;)

can you still get parts for it in Holland? I would think that most of the metal in the yards is rusty as well! .. I hope am wrong

and finally i found and bought another one!!
Original dutch 1972 240Z. Solid as a rock as far as i could see. With an enormous amount of spare parts, new and used.
Just registered on my name, will pick it up next weekend, i am happy with it :)
