So, I went to Autorama- you know, THE place to see old American iron. And all I got was this '73 Datsun brochure. It was the first year for the 610 so I thought I'd share.

610 2-door hardtop coupe

610 5-door wagon

610 4-door sedan

620 pickup and 510 2-door sedan

1200 sedan and sports coupe (b110 sunny)

Out of these I've only ever seen an S30 in person. So you see how awesome this is for a Midwesterner!

Cheers

In the brochures from countries that actually got Sunny trucks.

No Sunny trucks sold in North America, so no Sunny trucks in the North American brochure. 8)

And it is funny that this is a 1973 brochure, but the 510 is in it. The '73 510 was only produced for a very short time. Heck, it was probably out of production by the time most people got their hands on this. :P

Very ironic that 1973 Datsun 510 importation stopped before the end of the year, yet it's still in the catalog. There's also a brochure just for the '73 510.
This board wouldn't download it, but email me if you need a jpeg of the cover. I don't yet have the whole brochure. My avatar is actually a very small image of it.

What's funnier is that the 510 looks like its rear bumper was tapped. It is pointing upward. Strange to see damage/poor construction in a brochure.

That's just the angle of view. They all look like that when they were new, from that angle. :tu:

That being said, I usually "fix" mine so it's flat.

Wouldn't it be wonderful to have those cars just as they are there.
New and pristine.
