Seeing the skyline was a pleasant surprise, but seeing a Detomaso Pantera really made me smile :D

Since it's a Japanese nostalgic car forum, should you have at least questioned in your mind if it was a MX1600 before resolving that it was a Pantera?

So this weekend I went to see the movie. I must say it was probably the best of all of five. My favorite part of the movie... the Hakosuka scenes.

Me too, and the nice thing is that it was very sympathetically presented...no big wheels, no neons or questionable vinyl :)

So basically as long as you nodded sagely, and muttered something about Tom Tjaarda, then we're all good :)

I think we were one of the first countries to show it- needless to say the HAKO was well received........ *drools*. Actually went with another car club (Fords) and they were impressed (of course)
A word of advice..... watch until AFTER the credits........................

Found these on youtube. Took me a while to find them because they are all in portuguese. Locals home video's of the Hakosuka while filming in Rio. The quality of some are better than others.

WARNING:
If you have not seen the movie try your hardest not to click on the links below.

Great find!'

Looks like that Hako owner had to loan his car to the production company for quite some time
