Shinichiro Sakurai dies.

Shinichiro Sakurai died the 17th. It was 81 years old.

Mr. Sakurai consistently stuck to an excellent design in the driving performance and the control performance when the skyline series was developed in the prince car age, and pressed the modernization of the car of Japan.

Sad topics were sent from Japan.

Very sad news for his family, and for car enthusiasts worldwide. For many of us in the "Gran Turismo Generation," the Skyline began our love affair with Japanese cars, and Mr. Sakurai was a big part of bringing that car to life.
