How dooo chaps.

Already been on here showing my Toyota Sera Turbo but thought I would showcase my recent purchase:

Datsun 100a Cherry 988cc 1977.
Bought it from a fellow retro car fan and he probably goes on here too so you may have seen it before :)

Hope you like. Already have some small changes in mind like having fender mirrors which I purchased last night and an 8 track player in it too :)

Comments welcome

Cheers for the kind comments guys, pity the damn thing won't start at the moment. Will be getting it done this weekend though.

The rims are from a Triumph Stag I believe....Not quite JDM enough for me but I think they suit the car quite well...certainly in the two tone. Nice choice by the previous owner.

OK update time:

When I bought the car both front wings were in rather hole like condition. So this bank holiday I thought I would get to attacking them. Fortunately I have a drivers side to put on but not a passengers. Figured it would look better with a repair for now than red tape over the holes to disguise them.

First of all I put alluminium mesh behind the holes i cut out with a grinder then fibreglass behind to get a surface to fill, sand and prime for now with zinc oxide primer. Will paint very soon at a later date in a garage with less chance of bugs and bad weather

You may have also noticed I have fitted my fender mirrors now too. Yay have mirrors on both sides now Smile

More soon as I will hopefully have two wings holeless when I paint the spare drivers side too.

We are somewhat quietly trying to enforce a size limit on sig pic photos. :P

Hope you don't mind...
