Hi, bagged this little cherry for a paltry €150! 1975, one lady owner.
As you can see its got a rotten port wing, but luckily I know of a new one. Some nasty spots on the bottom door corners too. Other than that bodywork's straight.

Sadly the colour code is no longer visible on the plate. Anyone familiar with datty paint codes of the 70s pls?

More pics coming up shortly

Great find, sir. If this gets the same attention as your Crown then it'll shape up to be the nicest A10 around. :tu:

yep prima; it was going to be scrapped. I'm feeling like i let a starving and shivering dog home, fed him, and giving him warm bedding etc..
It does need some work, as you can see.
and thanks for that link, I nailed its colour code :tu:

started 'attacking' the interior. It has that cool vinyl floor carpet. And found parts of the underlay soaking wet. The culprit-

the rest of the front floorboard is 100% clean

nothing out of this world; tidying up the bodywork, a respray in its original colour, reupholster the front seats and a set of revolutions-thats all.
Last but not least try to find a heater to fit-it didnt come with one :x

Clean the engine bay up hellsa, paint the valve cover the engine block, shine the head up. Custom header and then a set of bike carbs. That would be so cool in that little thing.

yep right; engine apparently needs a water pump; there's green stuff leaking from the pump end of the upper hose
it would be nice if in some way i can replicate the manufacturers sticker on the air cleaner spout before wirebrushing and repainting it. will give it a more authentic look

I would pull the engine out and get in there with a tooth brush and just clean the hell out of it. I did that with my corolla and it came out intensely nice. If you can get pics of the stickers and deminsions of it I bet someone on here can make new ones for you.

dealt with the surface rust in the trunk

here she is just freshly painted

chrome detailing and mirrors really set it apart; even in dull weather

Image
in the background - the main culprit of the short life expectancy of cars; the strong northwest wind hard at work in that regard!
