I have a 61 SPL213 I have a 61 SPL213 restoration project. I have been trying for a few months to break the engine free but no luck so far. Where would I be able to take this engine to have rebuilt or even buy parts for it?
Thanks

G'Day mate,

Welcome aboard.

The first thing you need to do is fill in your profile so we know where you are from. I'm in Australia, but if you aren't, not much point in me giving you suggestions... it'll help you enormously.

cheers,

If by "break the engine free" you mean it's frozen solid, try popping it in an oil drum after draining whatever fluids still exist inside the block, pulling any freeze plugs and filling up with diesel fuel. Then go away for a month.

Ya, the engine will not turn over. I have removed plugs and put different fluids in their that usually do the trick but not this time. The only thing I have yet to try is removing the oil pan and spray fluids from there. I am looking into my worst case senerio of having to rebuild the engine. Its not like a chevy 350 where I can get parts so easy like a rebuild kit. Actually, is there a such thing?

there is a lot of available parts for engine rebuilt for your 61 SPL213.
My friend already tried from the Datsun Fairlady and the output is fair enough.
