So I have been working on replacing the brake components on the hako and the latest purchase was a new booster. Well I ripped apart the old stuff to install the new components last night only to find that when upgrading to the 7/8ths components the booster won't just drop in... I see that victory 50 makes a spacer for this, but I don't see that part for sale by itself? Has anyone done this install? Did I just waste about $350 on this part?

Here's the problems I'm having:

bolts for firewall are way too long
The booster sits right against the sidewall
Looks like the hard lines will be a bit short now
Even with a spacer it looks like it won't sit flush, it will be cocked a tiny bit to one side

Anyone else tried this?

well my spacer came in andf i went out there today and did the install, it fixed the big gap that i had, but i had to relocate one of the hard lines from one side to the other since its such a tight fit. BUT i now had the bigger booster, and the bigger master cylinder, and the pedal feel is awesome.

next up will be clutch master/slave replacement, and hopefully i can pull the engine over the EXTREMELY harsh winters we have here in Northern Japan, and have the bay painted and cleaned.

i cant believe the link is still there.
i bought the bigger one cause i plan to upgrade to 4 pot calipers.

the spacer works great, but i still haven't driven the car, need to buy clutch slave/ master, but someone pulled out in front of me and i couldn't stop in time, so my S15 is in bad shape. getting it appraised for repairs, i plan to sell it as soon as its fixed so i can do all the work i need to do for the Hako.

no drifting for me anymore.. BOOOOOOOOOOOO
