Wow, I'd never seen one of those with a turbo diesel in it. That's bad-ass. And I love 620s... and that color too.

All around, that's quite an awesome truck you have there! More pics/info! :D

Yeah I'd post of ratsun. I think someone on there will be able to help. Definitely a sweet truck though.

The engine name is LD20T. :tu:

Good engine, very stout, and responds well to more boost. Just tough to find parts for.

Oh, also the LD28 from the 81-84 Maxima shares some parts with this engine, so hunt those down in the JY if you can.

California isn't really a hotbed of diesel activity, though. :P

Hey me again, lol. I'm having issues with the water pump. Which engine is compatible other than the LD28 from the 81-84 Maxima with my LD20T. Thanks in advance.

Just about any water pump from any L-series engine will work. When you buy a new one (which I would suggest), just ask for one for your car. It should be identical for gas or diesel. :tu:

Then I would probably suggest a 510 or 240Z water pump. That will do away with the fan clutch at the same time, giving you more room for electric fans. :tu:

If you're putting on electric fans, you don't need the fan clutch. Or did I read that wrong?

I meant to write the transmission clutch lol. I'm giving the LD20T a full tune up. Oils, liquids, changing old parts with new, might get new wheels and tires. I want to make sure it runs for a while. Nothing wrong with it, but it needed a full tune up. Thanks for the help :tu:
