So apparently rubber has a half life, and it has been reached in my car... Within a week, it seems that most of the rubber fuel hoses have cracked/broken, as has a radiator hose. Previous owner claimed to have replaced all articles, I now may doubt that.

Anyway. Everything easy is now replaced, but as I look to the fuel injectors, the rubber hose to them appears to be integral... Is that the case (1975 280z)?

Or is there any way for me to remove/replace the hose on the injectors, without buying new injectors?

It is basically "integral". They are crimped on by the factory.

you can carefully cut them off, replace the hose, and pop on some slim hose clamps (Mercedes clamps work best).



I have tried to replace the hoses on several cars. Sometimes it works well, sometimes it doesn't. If you're the sort who isn't afraid of fiddling with it until it works, replace the hose. If you crave utter simplicity, buy new.
