Hi,

my name is Harry, i live in Germany. I tell you to the beginning, my english is not so good :wink:

A friend of me has buy a Datsun Bluebird 910 Coupe 1981 in the last time at ebay and has begone to restore. The problem here in Germany, the central storage depot burning down 1980/81, so it gives no body parts.

Here is his story.

The condition was not so bad. So he bigin to find and repair the obvious places.

Cool car! I always wished that we got the coupes in the US. They're very attractive cars, in my opinion. I wish that my Maxima was that clean...

What motor does that have?

He find new rims, in the 70s and 80s they are very famous in Germany.

A friend of him has find a dealer with some used parts, so he drive to hin with a truck.

Then it had to however again divide it, because the sheet metal in the engine compartment had to be exchanged

thats some good progress! just curious what you meant about the central storage depot burning down. was it some sort of parts warehouse?

It was the Datsun part store for complete Germany, i have look again, it was march 1986, they make weldings at the roof, it begins to burn and was completly destroyed :( Total harm 26.5 million dollar.

Hi Ben,

thanks for welcome. Here it standing, but only in german. But i knowed, because we drive at this time our secound Datsun. As my Dad look for a new Nissan, the Nissan dealer tell us, that the Central Store Neuss burning down, as a company repair the building.

I work since two years at this car. There are many breaks, but now i bring this to an end.

Do the German 910s have the voice warning system?

"Fuel level low."

My friend would drive his 910 sedan around low on gas on purpose. He said it was the only way he could get a woman to talk to him. He'd talk back to it.

Nice car BTW! I wish we had gotten the coupes in the US.
