Yup, I've noticed!
Unfortunately I've somehow managed to set my mind on a MR. It's probably silly, but that lovely 2T-G twincam in my Trueno has simply converted me, and I fear that if my GTO ends up not having an equally entertaining twincam, then I might end up being a little disappointed with it. Is this valid and logical?? Most likely not, but it's what I've worked into my head anyhow. Silly I know as every one of my classic BMW's back home are obviously SOHC, and I still thoroughly enjoy them when I'm back home...
Luckily though, a very kind and helpful GTO-owner from this forum  has been helping me in my search. Recently he even sent me a link to a fairly original MR that was for sale in Japan. It wasn't perfect, but it was none the less in fairly clean and largely original condition and the price seemed very reasonable. A mate here in Hong Kong wrote the seller in Japanese twice, but even so we never received an answer.
It's proving difficult! But I haven't given up... :tu:
