This is my '81 Dodge Challenger tube frame drag car. It's powered by a Chrysler 225 Slant 6 engine that runs on methanol. I'm currently putting a new Slant 6 engine in it that I hope will make it even faster! It's fastest time so far is 7.355 @ 92.39 MPH in the 1/8th mile (11.60s in the 1/4 mile).

You should try a real engine, like a boosted 4G63

Swapping engines in this thing is pretty easy. I'm really into the Slant 6 thing right now, but I could easily set it up for just about any RWD engine combination.

As I get more into the Mitsubishi thing (now that I have my '78 Dodge Colt) I may very likely look at dropping a wicked fast turbo engine in it.

You can see here how the engine is mounted using a simple plate. Very easy to set up with whatever you want.

nice.. same car like mine..in Malaysia they call it mitsubishi lamda.. mine is swapped with sr20 turbo engine..going for a street warior setup hehe..going to swap the turbo to a borg warner s366XL once finished with the body work and paint.
