its running the stock 4g32 chain type distributor, i'm not familiar with the montero engine, is it the 4g54?, if it is then i'll just get a 4g54 distributor then install it on the 4g32, is it?

There were two types of dizzys in the G32. One has the point plate mounted with screws that pass through the alloy body into the plate from the outside.
And the one I have pictured here the screws come down from the top, inside the housing. Turns out some of the later dizzys are the same on the inside even though they mount up in the head. The mounting screws are under the pickup out of site.
The only modification I had to do was shorten the vacuum advance arm so it clocks the new pickups properly.
This system works flawlessly compared to the aftermarket conversions.
When looking for a later dizzy some have the advance unit up on top, these do not work for a retrofit. When you find one with the advance underneath it will probably work for you. It has been about 8 years since I did this swap so some of my details are a bit fuzzy.

I just noticed you are in the Philippines,
There were a number of Hyundais that shared the G3x engine that had a breakerless ignition.
Also take a look in the L300 and box type Lancers.
The Montero/Pajero with the 4G54 is the dizzy I used. A suitable ignition should be in some later Galant and Sigmas as well.

i already compared it to the L300s(4g63) and the box types(4g32 belt type) but they were different, i think one of them is too shallow to fit the other mechanism from another, maybe i'll try to look for that hyundais or 4g54s
