I believe so. Last ad I saw was for $600? It looked kinda beat. I've learned to be patient over the years. The cars are out there, and at a reasonable price, especially from long time owners looking for someone to take care of "their" car. I got a few good deals on cars I probably could not have afforded otherwise, other than the owner giving me a good deal because they felt it was going to a good home. Heck, there was one local to me I looked at 3 or so years ago that I almost bought for over twice the price of this one , didn't run, had bad rust issues, and the interior was rough, just because they don't show up very often in any condition. The last one was about a year ago, also local, and while relatively clean and straight, had bad rust issues around the front and rear glass (probably had a vinyl top), motor was running on 3 and had lots of back registration due. At the time, the tow yard would not take my $1800 offer. They were asking for $2500 and said they would not let it go for under $2200. "I can get $2500 all day long on eBay for this car", I was told. I said you'd be lucky to get $1500 for it. I don't normally argue pricing with owners, if they don't like my offer, so be it, but this guy was annoying me bad! Eventually sold on eBay for....$1500 after being listed 2 times before probably with a $2500 reserve. I really wanted to call the guy and have a good laugh.

So the guy probably cleared $1100 after all the fees were paid. Should have taken the $1800 offer.

But then I wouldn't have seen this so maybe I should call him and thank him?
