Help fellow JNCer's. I need some hard to find parts to complete my T600 so if any of you forum members based in Japan can help please PM me. I am running out of options here in Australia!

I urgently need door handles which are the same on all of the K360 and T600 models. The other parts I need are unique to this early TEA45 series T600, namely the indicator stalk and rear tail light lenses. A picture of the indicator stalk is elsewhere in this article and my rear lenses are square and full red.

Thanks! :D

Watch this space, some updates due shortly.

More T600s have been located and purchased here in Australia.

Another road trip awaits!

Hard to say, there are NOS parts along with two rolling chassis. I will get the missing parts to finish off mine but there should be enough to make a second one. There will be parts spare, but we will wait and see.

Not just T600s coming home either! :D

Yes, only vintage Mazda. Let's just say other early 1960s versions and NOS parts. :tu: :D

Here is a teaser shot of one of the T600s to come home, plus a couple of the other ring-ins.

One trip, taking my recently purchased Canter truck (I know not a Mazda, but the old Mazda T3500 finally died) along with my CX7 and two car trailers. Plus a few burly blokes to help load it all! Scale measurements show they will all fit but the reality may be different. My scale measuring worked with the first trip 2 1/2 years ago so fingers crossed. Back then I got a completed T600 and two chassis with parts on one car trailer.

The biggest bonus is the NOS parts to suit the T600 and R360s, plus a few 600 and 800 parts thrown in for good measure. The logistics of the trip have taken 6 months to plan as I had to replace the T3500 truck with something suitable for the trip.

The purchase of the 5 cars and parts was relatively cheap. The Canter and a second new car trailer have blown it all out of proportion though. It is only money

Won't have any more pics until the trip, these were sent by the seller. Not long now, only three weeks until we leave. :D

Its a good attitude Jon you sure as hell cant take the money with you when your time is up in this world. Will be sending you a wish list of parts I need via email in the next week or so, just trying to do my bit to off set the cost of your canter :D

Hi all,
Hope you don't mind if I jump in here.
I picked up a T600 from Murwillumbah earlier this year.
It had been given to a mate 30 years ago by a printing company here in Sydney.
Prior to that it was used by Quantas as I remember the story.
I brought it up to M'bah on my Volksy ute and the mate partially dismantled it and got sidetracked and stored it under his house.
He gave it to me as a retirement project. It's 95% complete but pretty sad.
I am yet to retire but have had the tub, doors and front guards stripped.
Have removed the rear quarters and rear panel from the tub to make new ones.
I have made a wooden buck and have a new bonnet nearly finished in 1mm steel.
The drivers door is very rusted and I am keen to source a less rusty one if possible
dings not a problem.
The master cylinder looks very sus so one of those would be welcome also.
If you are going thru Sydney on your trip you'd be welcome to drop in as I'd love to pick your brains and maybe buy some nos bits if that's ok.
This is my first post here and I have no idea how to post pics but will give it a go.
H.

Happy to have you jump in here. I will be able to help with most of your missing or broken bits. Unfortunately we are going down much further inland but could possibly come back through Sydney? Would love to know more details on yours and happy to help out. Like firstly whether yours is a TEA-45 or a TEA-55 model? Whilst most of the T600s came via Perth like mine there was a small distributor in Sydney during this time that sold motorcycles so that could be where yours came from? More specific info is on my computer at home and I do have the dealers name. I was not aware of your T600 which now makes 9 (full and partial) survivors to my knowledge. One at Birdwood Motor Museum, two owned by Mazda Australia in Melbourne and my collection which now numbers 5 chassis. Less than 50 ever came into Australia so not a bad survival rate.

To post pics you need to upload to a third party site like photobucket and link to this thread. That is the only annoying thing about this forum that pics can't be posted direct.

Either email me at mazdajon@aol.com or PM me through the Forum for a contact phone number. :D

Am loving this thread! There are cool, vintage Mazdas, AND it's got Brisbane, my home town.

I'm hoping for a smooth journey down South, and for all the bits you need to there and n good order.

Awesome!
