My sister-in-law has a 1962 R360 Coupe she would like to sell. She could use some help regarding how she should go about selling it. It has original paint, little rust and ran about 3 years ago.

Got any photos of it? What sort of help does she need? Where to list it? Or what price to ask?

I would suggest ebay as you will get a world wide audience.
Price wise you may get anything for it just depends on who is looking but depending on condition you could get 15-25K for it maybe more.
Bloody rare car in the states mate.

We have one here locally and the owner would get $30K aussie for it easily.

Cheers,
Clayton.

Consider bringatrailer.com as well.

Not an owner of a R360, but interested to buy one, I have made a little search and I think 15K US $ is too much even for a well restored car. Mediocre cars are sold for less than 1 to 2K in Japan, and considering that the restoration of this car is very easy and cheap and there are plenty of parts in Japan (even NOS) in good prices, I think there is no reason to spend more than 10-12K to buy a restored car.

I agree these cars are a dime a dozen in Japan. I think $10k for a restored car is a good price.

A car is worth what someone will pay and my reasoning for high pricing is the fact you can always go down in price but not up.
If the seller has no idea on price then he will soon work it out when buyers are telling him he is way over priced. Its also supply and demand and I can bet not a huge amount of these cars are in the States.

Cheers.
