Albeit this might not be a Classic yet, I still want to post it :)

It's a 1988 626 2.0i-16 4ws (or so its called in norway, its pretty much a GT both on the outside and inside...)

Engine is the rather rare FE-DOHC with 148PS/182Nm, 10:1 CR, no cat.

Taken en route from Oslo to Bergen this summer...

The interior is very well kept, but the seats and carpet needs to be cleaned... - both interior pictures are from february.

I bought it in february from a girl nearby that had -no- idea how to tend a car mechanically, even tho it got washed often, so it looked nice..
That decieved me, as the engine was pretty much blown, and the odometer had ben rewound quite abit.. not finished with the legal battle yet, but I got a new engine put in, another FE-DOHC from the same year, with an almost new head, block had run about 315000km, but no weird noises and it runs very, very well indeed.
Does use abit of oil, and the 4ws isnt working (yet) ...

Very nice! Did you get the 4wd version in Norway? We got it here, but with a less powerful engine than yours.

Sorry to hear about the mechanical problems, but wow--the body is in amazing shape. Looks great w/ the big newschool wheels, too.

Very cool.

This is indeed a very nice car. I have several 4WS cars and I fixed them all completely.
If you tell me how many times the warninglight flashes between periods I can tell you what to do.

The 4ws light isnt on at all, I know it has been disabled by removing and sealing one of the hydraulic pipes.

We did indeed get the 4WD version in norway, with the F2 engine, im currently looking for one, they're great for winter driving...

I have to get one of the strut towers welded as its pretty badly rusted, and there's some rust under it, but other than that there really are no issues anymore.

Switched out a failed ECU temp sensor last weekend, so now it actually runs properly too. It had a tendency to stall if it was started while warm.

Thank you :)

Here's some winter pics...

I have a new front bumper in the basement, but im not going to put it on before I've switched out the doors on the left side, theyre both rusted... the more stuff I can get sprayed at the same time, the better odds of a better colour match overall....

Those are great winter shots, don't get any of the white stuff in my neck of the woods.

I washed it like 5 minutes before those pics were taken.. clean, dark car + snow = win!

Gonna get the rest of the smaller issues with it sorted out before spring, but I'll probably leave the 4ws system be for now...

Somehow from a certain angle, the car's front looks like Nissan A31

A little something..

The car still lives, albeit standing abit higher than before, removed lowering springs in december 08 and put in new rear struts etc... being used as a daily driver to the uni now :)
