I didn´t mean the first 626 but the first GC generation! -There had been a prefacelift and a facelift form the 626 GC. The first GC was from 1982-1985 and the second gen from 1985-1987!

Yeah, on that platform, you are right... your first GC, to us woulda been the 83-85 FWD 626. Pre-facelift woulda been the quad headlight front end. Then in 86-87, we got the single halogen headlight nose.

Also, 82 to us, was the last year for the 626 RWD platform... which ran from 79-82. lol

An interesting thing about the 83-87 626... 83-85 had the same automatic transmission, 86 was a one year transmission, and 87's automatic transmission was used, I think from 87-94(which is said to be an unreliable crapbox). lol

I'd love a set of those US-spec quad lamps, I'm a big fan of bizzare "USDM" headlight setups. Not my mission to make the whole thing into a prefacelift model though.

Would also like a digidash, but I suspect the work involves more than just swapping the analog one out and plugging it in. Especially being that mine's a carb version (manual choke in 1987!).

The digi-dash is plug ' n play! -I got one and still have it in use!

The quad headlights would interest me, to, but in argentinia there you got the newer headlights (one glas) with two cams for lightning... -they had been a bit biger and were used with the smal parkinglights like the quad headlights have...

Is it?! Even on the carb versions? I'm guessing you'd lose the choke light, but I could live with that.

Only question now is where I'd be able to obtain one - are there seperate versions for km/h and mph, or are they all combined into one? I'd need an mph one.

According to my manual, there's a "range change" button to switch between mph and km/h on the digidash, excellent! Now I just need one - any ideas? Being a facelift, I'll need the one with the curved rev counter. Will pay decent money, I'd absolutely love a digidash and now my time has come!

Digidashs are hard to find. -If you can get one, you have to pay much money on it. mine is from ebay and wasn´t realy cheap, too.
