VERY nice! I just got a '71 1800 estate myself recently, trying to find little parts. Have any spares or know where I could look?

Hi!
Your car looks just great!! :D
I've just bought a -72 that was sold new as van, but converted to estate in -75. It looks pretty similar to Your car, and not the "panel van" that we also had i Norway.
I also have a 1971 panel van under restoration.
One of the things that I notice as similar on Your and my -72, is the doorhandles on the rear doors. On the panel vans, they didn't use the original doortrim at all, but some sort of thin chipboard on the rear doors.
Du You know if there is other differences between a standard estate and van in Finland? Like suspension, tyres, drivetrain etc?

hi, i think van and estate is the same car, only front section of the boot is different. also rear seat is slightly poor if you compare on the estate seat, as you can see.

my car don't have yet original rear seat, but it's in the works.

I'm almost sure that van's had lower gear ratio in the differential than sedan and estate here in Norway.
And yes, the front of the boot is different, because there was welded in a extension of the boot floor, where the rear seat usually is.
And in Norway they didn't come with rear seat. But in my -72, there is a rear seat that is not original. Maybe I can post some pictures of the seat, and get some help to figure out what it is!?
