Hey, that's neat. I wish we had a transportation musem.
Generally...
Microcar is less than 600cc
Minicar is less than 1500cc

Your 1200cc NSU will be a hit!

Not the same car, but, in case you are interested.....I just put mine on the dyno for the 1st time yesterday

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-3vP2KI ... annel_page

I was suprised it made that much power. I always wondered why it would scarily spin all 4 tires in third gear. I thought it was my 12 year old tires

Way cooler in my opinion. Just kidding Brad,I really like your car. It was even quiet when I had a ride in it that day(unlike my RX-7).

Your lucky I don't have your email address,Brad because I emailed a sweet NSU rotary spider that was on eBay to your dad a few weeks back, and he told me not to email it to you because he doesn't have the room. Japanese car day is getting closer,I can't wait. The Datsun isn't ready yet,but should be soon. I did have it running on the new carbs, but now I have a coolant leak, and I still need to make up air cleaners, but that stuff has arrived, just needs finishing.

Thats mostly the plan, needs a muffler so it will prob get a racing beat replacement, but nothing crazy. Drives so nice just as it is!

Not much has been done with the car over the past couple years of ownership so I decided it was time. Picked up a set of original Enkei wheels in a 13x6 with the correct 4x110 bolt pattern from a member here "Datsunrides". (good trader by the way!) Had then shipped from Cali for a pretty good price. They need a little clean up and one had been poorly painted so I made the decision to restore all four of them.

Close up of corrosion...

Blasting away years of grime and corrosion..

All cleaned ready for a hand polish on the lips and paint.

Thinking of doing them in a bright silver for a contrast against the black car instead of black? Besides, I have a set of black ones in 15 inch on my flatside Starion.
