Do you have to modify the crank of the engine?

My Mazda 1500 is now using FE engine. I am not very happy with it's performance. I plan to put a B6 or BP into my Mazda 1500 but I can't because of the crank. I am now considering a 13B without turbo.

not sure what your talking about.
what are you calling the crank?

It's a colloquial term among mechanics here, may not be a correct one. It should be called oil pan (oil resevoir at the bottom of the crankcase). But, there is no problem now as we replace it with one from a front wheel drive version B6 engine.

thanks for your concern
