I apologise for the small pics - I seem to limited to 1000 pixel high pictures now - anybody have an idea why?

Now this "mystery box" 5 speed lives there. I bought it from Mazbitz for $100.00 gold coins because it arrived in the boot of another Mazda 121 coupe and had the right shifter which is rare.

Fits like it should.

Have not been on here in quite a while - but I thought I would update the 121/Cosmo thread.

I have put it all together and there is alot of ground to cover on how it turned out. I will update the thread if people are interested so please let me know and I will spend time on it.

In the meantime - enjoy a few updated pics!

In my friends vacant factory where he kindly let me store it after completion, thanks Lachlan!

Cheers Alex,

Yeah thats the plan what date is it on or is there a link?

I am redoing the head this weekend. I reused the cam and rocker gear off the old motor and I think the cam is a regrind? It has numbers stamped on the end of it. Anyway it has worn the rocker arms down and I have no more adjustment to set valvle crarance its getting quite noisy. I have 2 spare cams and a whole motor so I will swap the rocker and cam out but apart from that its going great. I may install an electronic ignition but I kind of enjoy the retro stock way it is now - except for the 32/36 weber carb and headers.

All paid just awaiting the approval from the All Japan Day organisers on the entry. I will probably arrive the Saturday then leave Sunday after the show and drive all night to get home. I will tow the car over should be a nice drive. I have a DP power chip in the Isuzu DMAX tow car now will be a lot nicer to drive!
