Damnit Dave...your behemoth has inspired me and now I find myself chasing a car found in the local Mazda dealership (for repairs I believe).
Although it is a 121 a rotary transplant would make it a nice cruiser...

That's a good idea, many years ago this FA3TS had a nice BP conversion...

I just have a spare S6 13BREW engine in the shed
Can't wait to see what you do with a FA3 next Dave, I wish I still had mine. You could have saved it from being dicked around with (it's now modified and blue)...

Hey Chuxa,
You and me both. When you see pics like this, do you miss your 121 as much as I miss my RX5?

Quality work as usual Dave :tu:

I asked at the local Mazda dealership about the 121. The owners (family owned for 57yrs) son has bought it from the original lady owner when she traded it in for a new Mazda. They have been servicing the car for over 30yrs. The car has had minor rust repairs to the inner door, the interior trimed as it was sun damaged and the bumpers are being straightened and chromed. I told them about your work as the headlight surround (RH) was damaged and will be dropping off your business card on my next visit. They want to keep the car as a part of a small Mazda collection they have. I'm glad they have it and are restoring it, but a bit unhappy I couldn't buy it. Keep up the great work!

Good lesson in how to remove the big nut on a engine not a cold chisel in sight. Out of interest are you doing the porting and the rebuild?
