Hi all , I have a 79 glc I want to put an L.S.D. in . Never done this conversion before , any tips ?

No clue, but I bet you should look at the 81+ RX-7 GSL centre section of the differential. My guess is they are very similar rear axle wise, but I could be wrong. Mazda is/was pretty good at parts sharing.

gsl stuff is all different ( axel size , third member size and housing size )

There's a X-pro rally 1980 GLC racecar here in Washington that runs a 115 series Alfa Romeo rearend. From what I understand the car had some teething problems sorting out the control arm length, but it looks very well developed now and is very fast.
