Ok so its been a while since I updated anything on this car…
It is still proving to be a great purchase and still has not let me down!!
The car has been through some minor, mostly cosmetic, changes since my last post
After the cars 12 months hiatus I managed to scratch the corner of the front bumper bar while moving it one day…. some repairs and a repaint were obviously in order…
Shortly after this I decided that I would like to change the rear of the car to JDM / USDM spec with the fitment of a garnish between the tail lights and the relocation of the number plate to under the rear bar.
Due to issues with posting a rear bar from Japan or the US, I elected to modify an Australian spec unit to resemble the JDM one. This required removing the number plate lights and cutting the section for the rear plate. After studying a few pics on the net, the cut was made and the holes left from the plate lights were fibre glassed up and smoothed. More prep work and then some RH sunrise red followed.
I have also fitted a new exhaust system, which really has the car barking loudly and popping some flames!!
Apart from those changes, I have spent a bit more time polishing the old girl to really get her to shine!!
I am now currently giving the car a once over and prepping it for an upcoming track day to really enjoy the sweet sound of a rotary at full noise!! I am not expecting to break any records, just out to have some FUN!!
