Some parts fresh back from the soda blaster - can't recommend it enough.


And assembled on the freshly reinstalled motor.




Upgraded top mount HKS intercooler set up and Koyo N flow radiator installed.

The front bumper was never that nice and I did want to run some sort of lower spoiler or lip. As always it had to be functional, and fit that 90's look. No drift kits here.

I spotted this kit on another forum. It's was made by a company called Erebuni. The lip was interesting in that it's a "half bumper" that fits over the standard bar. So it satisfied the rules for my class of a front airdam well without replacing the whole bumper.


But it looked a little too "busy" for my liking so I used my very basic MS Paint skills to fasion what I thought it should look like.


Then I found out who had the mold for the bumper and it was quite local. The guy was happy to modify the lower spoiler to my specifications. I also fitted my aluminium undertray in accordance with the class regs and painted it.








The fit was excellent a real credit to the guys at EziGlass. I wanted it to be functional and period correct for look and it does both well.

Back on the ground and the assembly continues. But it's looking exactly how I envisaged when I started it over 12 months ago.




Thats all the updates for now. I have started securing the undertray and fabricating the rear bar support and some ducting but it's slowed down as I am renovating the house I bought at the same time after my separation. But the garage is done and wired up so it's ALOT easier......

Not much done last week. Xmas and NYE got in the way......

Front undrtray supports are in.




Rear bumper support is now in to stop the lower trailing edge of the bumper flapping in the wind.


You can just spot the bolts going through the rear panel that support the brace.


You have probably spotted the rear tow strap to. Attached with a high tensile bolt of course.

very tuff looking so far, looking forward to seeing more!

Been busy with work and renovating the house but some parts arrived from Jesse Streeter in Japan today so into the garage I went.

Tein front strut brace - my one that came with the car was pretty rough.


And took a chance on a URAS triple duct too. Decided if it didn't fit some Skyline guy would buy it - but it fits! Just a little bit of die grinding on the ends to follow the profile of the bumper strip then I will paint it and stick it on.










I am painting it gloss black to match the gloss black RE Amemiya mirrors, RE Amemiya rear spoiler and the Work Rezax wheels. I wanted to break up the white a little and this balances out the rear spoier nicely. Need all the air through the front I can get - especially when a front mount goes on there later with the Cosmo motor I am looking to in a few years. For now it helps get that important air in.

I have just designed an offset plate bracket for the front I will fold up tomorrow out of alloy and install to move the plate to the right hand side of the bumper to max airflow on the street. Not an issue at the strack with the plates off...............

On a side note - if you need anything form import monster/ RHD Japan Jesse is great.

More going on with the car in the next few weeks. Hoping to fit up a lot more parts, tidy the nuts and bolt up with all new stuff and trim the doors.
