I recall reading somewhere that the director had sprayed water underneath them specifically to ensure that all cars made contact. :shock:

Agreed. The chase scene is in actual order had it been real, not just a bunch of little snipets of aesthetically pleasing scenes pasted together for dramatic effect like the re-make.

the chase in the new movie I did like, but they missed the chance to do 49 other chases. I mean, if you're gonna make a movie about stealing 50 high-end cars, please, please, PLEASE have more than one good chase scene.
