I have a 626 CB '81 and my friend offered me a 929 coupe w/popup headlights. The 929 is to rusty to repair so my question to you guys... Which parts can I use from the 929.

The 626 is Manual and the 929 is Auto and pretty sure they both have the 2.0L MA motor.

Could I use...

Driftshaft? Axles? Rear Diff? Are they both 4x110? Brakes? wheel hubs?

Sad to see an HB jailbar coupe in that condition! Cool rims, though.

Those rims had been original wheels for that coupe!

I bet with a good polish they'd look sweet on my RX-7. I'd consider offering you some cash for them but the shipping would likely be murder!

Forget it! -I had been interested in them, too.... -The car is not his one, -he only thought about buying it and the actual owner will only sell the whole car!

I think any HB is worth restoring, but if it could be parted out to keep other Mazdas on the road, it's not so bad. Does the car run? is he asking a lot of money for it?

Clean 626 by the way! 8)

No he doesn't want much for it. And since serrasalmus told me the only part identical in these cars is the Engine, I'm not gonna buy it. Thanks for your help guys ;)

Do you know if and where online I can get a set of four plastic fender flares on my 626?
