4x110 gets my vote. The RX7 of the same vintage was, and those wheels look identical to RX7 wheels.

And do you know which cars have the 4x110mm pattern? Is it possible to force the Peugeot's 4x108 there without a hub :D:D

Hahah, yeah well, not gonna buy new rims on the Mazda. Import to Iceland is Eeeeeeeexpensive. Surely I will just make wheel hub adapter and change the pattern to 4x100, piece of cake :p

This is just typical... I have a mazda w/4x110, hard to find. Then I have a Subaru Leone '86 w/4x140, almost harder to find Lucky me. On the other hand I have a Legacy GT and it has 5x100 which is everywhere.

Yeap, DF is on the money, just about every Mazda from the 70's scored the 4 x 110. Drum brake Rx-7 was 110, series 2 disc stepped up to 114.3.

The odd one out is the 70's was the Rx-5/Cosmo at 4 x 120 which like your Subaru almost impossible to find!!

Cylinder head bolt tightening sequence on the Mazda's A series engine are the same(NA,VC and your MA 2.0l) Clockwise from the centre post out. Bolt one is next to the exhaust manifold, then the one next to it, then step forward etc. The small M8 bolt in the front of the head into the timing cover is done up after you've tightened the main bolts. Do you need the torque settings too?

Sorry to be pedantic Tim....but the series 2 RX-7 was also 4 x 110. It was the series 3 RX-7 that went to the 4 x 114.3 PCD.




L10A and L10B Cosmo sports were also 4 x 120mm PCD.

Don't forget, Mazda 1000 utes were the odd one out completely and 1500 and 1800 sedans also had 4x120.

yes you can. you dont need a hub. but to be safe you have to buy bolts with a loose center. i have used this setup for 2 years(and driving pretty hard) and no problems so far (the bolts are also ECE TUV approved, so their legal, and if they are legal in batshit crazy Norway, they are legal everywhere, we have the worlds nastiest DMV )

I have more Q. My head gasket is blown and I'm not sure if the head is cracked. Are these MA motors in some other cars like B2000 Pickup or something?

And the Rear Diff... Can I use one from another Mazda like the pickup?

We don't have many old mazdas left here in Iceland. Mine is the only one I've seen for many years.
