hello, i have bought a 1975 Mazda 818 Coupe de Luxe. I am wondering which replacement parts are fitting my car from other models. I have the 1.3 litre 4 cyl engine. Does the parts from us 808 fit in general, like brakes, steering, suspension? Your reply are really much appreciated. Thank you in advance and rgds sergi

Lots of mechanical parts from the mazda 1300, glc(323) can be used for your 808/818 even some rx-7(sa) stuff wil fit, like brakedrums.

Watch out with 818/808 1600cc mechanical parts. Some 1600cc parts are slightly different or won't fit at al.

Leafsprings? Search for an (old) leafspring manufacturer if you want new ones. If your lucky they can even fix the old ones.

A very good leafspring manufacturer and well known in the oldtimer world is Eeltink in heemskerk (Netherlands). They make al kind of leafsprings even if you want just one set.

yes, ive got some one close to vienna, he said thats no problem replacing them, also bushings hand made and not costly. thx guys!
