Hello everyone, new member from Norway here. I have a 75 Mazda 1300 with only 59000km on it, in great original condition (unrestored). A few pics of it:

Welcome aboard, that is a amazing example of the 1300, particularly seeing you haven't restored. Liking the headlight wipers. Did you buy it new?

Great little car Haakon.
My first car was a Canary Yellow wide bodied 1300, same as yours, and in great condition, unlike yours, which is in MINT condition.
It looks like you have kicked the mrs out of the bed to let the little 1300 stay safe. It looks like its in great condition.
Still has the plastic on the doors.
Love the wiper set up on the headlights.
WOW can't get over it.....Nice car
But I must say, although I was born in the 70s, I'm so glad I was kid then, cos what where they thinking, check out the pattern on the seats LOL

I actually bought the car 3 years ago from the original owner in Sweden, a little old lady who had the car garaged since new, and probably only used it to church on sundays and bingo on wednesdays

I believe the swedish cars were pretty high specced in general, with headlight wipers and retracting 3-point seatbelts in the back as standard.

Yeah Haakon, your spec vehicles did surpass a number of other European countries. That's the 'S' version. Sorta funny though isn't it, you missed out on the radio. That's just so clean.

In 1974 or -75 all car had to have wipers/cleaners for the headlights in Sweden (were the care came from). They were also very early with backseat seatbelts after swedish law. Therefore cars from sweden have wipers and seatbelts in the back when the cars usually came without it in the rest of the world.

Looks absolutely beatiful Brings memories, my dad used drive 1973 model of Mazda 1300 which looks bit different. This later model was sold as a Mazda Marella here in Finland.

I have no plans to change anything on the car, its sooo nice that its strictly stock and well taken care of over the years, most of these cars rusted away 15-20 years ago i guess.. At least the ones here in norway.

I kinda like the striking blue/poo-brown houndstooth mix, haha.. its sooo 70s

Awesome yet again. Didn't spy the Vinyl floor in the earlier pics. Retractable seats all through the car is different. Here's a couple of mine, not anywhere near the caliber of yours yet.

Its almost like playing spot the differences, I look into my garage and see many difference from the Australian versions.

Headlight wipers of course
Front side indicators larger
Vinyl floor, carpet standard here
Radio was optional here and in Aus was the Ten brand
No rear chrome on boot lid and around tail lights
Fabric seat inserts
The retractable seat belts would have been almost unheard of in that era
Under bonnet I see, master cylinder for hydraulic clutch, mechanical here
The extra fluid bottle under the ignition coil has me intrigued.
Just a pity your steering wheel is on the wrong side though but a really beautiful example of a car that looks like it has never been used

and just to upset B1500 boy, they look best in 2 door !!!

Swedish cars, that means cars for swedish market were always different at that time, mostly according to local legislation combined with the then called "arctic" specs. They were classified after a specific code model from mazda. If you take a look at parts catalog the differences are so numerous... (Ok, a LHD car parts book).
