Nice find. That'll be looking top notch in no time at all. Good luck with your project.

thanks.

one thing i'm not a fan of are the side moldings. do you know if i need to fill in and possibly blend in any holes if i take them off?

That's funny ... I don't have them on my car and want to have them. The clip holes underneath the mouldings when removed will need to be filled in and touched up.

If you're lucky the additional side trims will just be held on with adhesive or double-sided tape since they were usually aftermarket or dealer fitted -no holes.
Boiling water poured over them usually helps to soften them so they can be peeled off.

They have holes. I had mine removed and the holes filled.

I didn't see where, it very well could have been a detail shop.... I was driving by and was like "YEAHHHHH CIVIC!!!" then I noticed it was red, and thought how many gorgeous red Civics could there be in Spokane. Didn't really pay attention to the building.

Kinda cool because I was on a Honda-related mission. :D

i haven't seen any other red 1gen civics in spokane so i'm 99% sure it was mine. there's a white and yellow one that rolls around town but the paint is faded and they're in pretty rough shape like most of the nostalgic cars are in town.

what were you in spokane for?

I was delivering an '85 B20A engine to a guy up in Canada with an 82 Accord. We went in on shipping on two of those engines from New Zealand. So I rented a truck and drove it up to him. :)

Nice pics of those wheels, BTW. Those are Accord wheels? Same ones on my Accord anyways. I painted mine and polished up the chrome bits as well. They look fantastic that way!

Also, can I ask how you make your pictures look so badass like that? I love what you do to them...
