Call up S&S headers out of Grassroots motorsports they can make you a set of headers for it.
It's been a while but he stated that they still have the patterns.
Might be $$$ but who knows,
On your carb.. You have to flip the carb around to utilize the main near the cvcc port.
If you don't know much of the older cvcc's, pull the cover and check the cam gear for wear.. If after you pull it (cover) and there is sludge all over EVERYTHING, your cvcc valves are probably coked up too.
Look for a 79-early 80 accord block w/stepped flywheel, the flat one won't fit your trans, use your head (may need to check the oil pump drive shafts to see which works {some are shorter for the higher volume pumps that were used in the later accords, and if you use a shorter shaft in a high pump you'll bind and destroy the pump/cam/maybe motor})
You can clean your 1500 head, port it, drill out the holes that face the cumbustion chamber alittle bigger.
