As my Volvo's XC90 T6 twin turbo inline 6 turbines are dying, they are taken out and to be replaced with reconditioned ones. I wonder if I could take out the old ones, the one which is not broken and put them in my S600, low boosted S600, quad throttle and high revving, sounds crazy! LOL

And here's the dashboard, being reconditioned, retrimmed and polished! All thanks to GLS upholstery in USJ, Selangor, Malaysia.

Call Willie @ 012-366 8436 if you need help in your upholstery and dashboard

Dash Insert came from Japan Yahoo Auctions :D
Subsituting bits here and there from both the dash insert to complete the interior. Note that the original one from the car was cut out to make switches, where the other one has some chipped damage.

wheels are in, however, when he attached the wheels, the body rolled back and slammed against the wall, so he says he is gonna repaint it . my heart was about to sink knowing there had been an accident, but lucky it wasnt anythign major, just some bent paint

Don't you dare put those achilles tyres on this beautiful car - they're absolutely terrible tyres (i'm speaking from experience)

Great build so far!

haha i think i snapped a picture of the tyres way back, i ordered yokohama, haha, least it goes back with a japanese car, neato!

As I await the arrival of my Crank bearing shaft from Canada, here is a book I bought from Kinokuniya Book store in Petronas Twin Towers, KLCC. Cost RM110, about 2000 yen as according to the magazine cover. Pretty hard and rare to find S car related books and literature in the country, especially by known car magazine, Nostalgic Hero, in this Extra Edition. Lots of pages about the S600, S800, L700, P800 and N360, interesting!

anyways, my crankshaft as arrived from canada. look at the amount of stamps, used to beat the customs from taxing me! lol

also some pictures of the metal based number plate, giving it a retro feel to the car! notice how i cramp all 5 characters in 1 line!

Looking good, can't wait for the build up of this car.

Those Number plates, are they 330mm standard JDM plate size, if so can you get them done on 2 lines or are the characters too big.

We can run silver on black plates on pre 73 cars here in the UK and I've been after some pressed metal silver on black plates for my N and Z600's. I can get black on white / yellow here in the UK done using an alloy JDM plate size but can't find anywhere that will do them, Silver on black like yours.

I need 2 lines though as our numbers are generally too long 3 then 4.

If you can get them I'd be interested to know where you got them.

hi team dandism, well, theres a metal presser here. well, they'd do for two rows, no problems, i insisted on one, as D would be like an orphan while the numbers become in a group, looks kinda awkward so i made them have everything together, since 1 is kinda slim, they cost like 30 pounds made for the whole set. give me a set of text, maybe i could make them for u :D the size seems to be of japanese style templates. ive measured against a toyota caldina zt JDM which carries the same plate size.

kevin

honda s600 crankshaft taken out from the box and sent to JC racing for piston bore and fit :D
