wondering if theres any plausible way of uprating the front brakes on a z600 (or anything else for that matter) ive been playing with my mates brakes on his ninja bike today and i thaught something like them would look cute on the z (small 4-pots)

anyone done any conversions or research?

the only problems i can see are that the brakes arent efficient enough or the calliper wont match to a disc that will fit inside the wheels (ive got 13" rims)

What we're planning to do on the N600 we're working on is to use RX7 rear disc brakes. They are the same bolt pattern, so the rotor should slip over the Honda spindle, then it's just a matter or making brackets to mount the RX7 calipers. :tu:

And you can fit most 12" or 13" wheels over them. :tu:

Me or Sploosh? :P

If me, no. The N600 is a bit of a backburner project right now. :?

sorry its been a while, ive had less than no time for anything at the minuite.. saying that ive had no time to look at brakes either :\ especially when i looked at the pice of bike brakes! :o

but what i was going to do was measure the mounting hole gap on the honda hub and just cross reference it with loads of bikes to see if i could fit anything.. but time has stopped me from doing so. :(

Problem is wheels. 10" are stock, not much is going to fit on 10. If you can find 12" wheels with a back spacing that fits, then you may have some choices. Just about anything would work, just need to make a bracket.
